First Radio Ad

Posted by Team Fimian - Tue, March 16, 2010 at 09:40 AM

Keith just released his first radio ad of the campaign titled, “Ban Earmarks."  Click the play button below to listen.

Career politicians like Gerry Connolly have abused the earmark system to gain campaign contributions and recklessly spend taxpayer’s money. The earmark system must be banned so ethically challenged politicians like Connolly can’t continue to flaunt the system and further Washington’s out-of-control spending.

I was very disappointed to read that Connolly took $250000 in bailout money to expand the free clinic in Woodbridge.  Once the bailout money is all used for the expansion, then it will be on the taxpayers to fund.  Thanks, Mr. Connolly!

Great Add.  That is the drumbeat they need to hear.  Grabbing 10 years of revenue to pay for 6 years of new entitlements in healthcare is voodoo math.  Someone has to call it out.

Sir,
Please turn up the heat on corporate theft of our democracy.  Ban earmarks, ban corporate bribes (contributions) intended to influence political decisions, candidates and their campaigns.  Put US Citizens back in control of our democracy.

I applaud you efforts to cut spending while responsibly taxing citizens to pay for reasonable governmental services.  Let’s get real and really fix problems.  Honor our forefathers with honorable service.

The ad made me laugh with the animal sounds. Humor is a good way to get people to listen. I thought it was well done.

Critique:

When Keith says he will stop spending, maybe it should be qualified, but am not sure.
